Saturday August 17, 2019 @ 11:00 am
Paddle the largest and one of the least developed reservoirs in the watershed! We’ll put in on the west side of Woonasquatucket Reservoir in Smithfield and paddle from there up to the north end, where the Woonasquatucket flows into the reservoir at Mowry Conservation Area. The paddle is approximately 2 miles long.
The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) provides canoes, kayaks, paddles and life jackets, or paddlers can bring their own boats. Contact Paddle Leader, Erik Talley at etalley@wrwc.org or (401) 481-1376 if you have questions. Advance sign-up is required.
If you are using one of our solo kayaks the price is $40/person. Two-person canoes are $30/person ($20/person for extra passengers). If you’re bringing your own boat the price is $20/person.
If you are bringing your own boat please remember to bring a life jacket for everyone who will be in your boat.
